About the Accommodation

"It's like stepping in to an Agatha Christie Story" a recent review.

Take a step back in time and enjoy our lovely Georgian home, which has just about every modern appliance needed, and lots and lots of space out the back to play or entertain.

Being right next to the historic town centre of Stirling, you don't even need a car. I work in the music industry and I’m lucky enough to be on tour a lot, so I thought it would be a lovely idea to let other nice people experience my stunning Georgian home, which is a mere 500 steps away from the city centre of the historic town of Stirling,

I’d say my home is one of the finest Georgian houses in Stirling and yet, very homely, set in nearly an acer of grounds with an enormous 10 feet wall surrounding our very large private garden, I’d like to welcome families or friends who want to experience a real Scotland with whisky on tap and haggis in the fridge including my personal whisky cream sauce, which I’ll leave the recipe for you. x

One day here you will know why Scotland is one of the most friendlies places on earth.

Formed over 3 levels, and having 5 large bedrooms all with lovely double beds and the most comfiest king size bed in the main bedroom, The bottom level has a stocked modern kitchen, with everything you should need for the first few days of your stay including whisky and haggis of course, If there is something you need, then the city centre with its shopping centre is only a short 5 mins walk away and train station 9 mins walk and plenty of free car parking at the property.

Drawing Room After dinner, retire to the drawing room and have a few drams on us, while you plan your day tomorrow, the room is large and to the front of the house, with 2 large comfy velvet sofas and open fire place with plenty of fire wood and coal.

TV Room Large and bright TV Family room, overlooking the beautiful back garden with a large TV, Bose sound bar and a DVD player, SKY TV including Movies & Sports, perfect for getting a few logs in the fire and just getting your feet up and watching a good Scottish movie or 2 after a long day, it even has a mini fridge, to save you walking down to the kitchen. West Wing Is a very bright and spacious room, which has a double bed and views over the private garden at the back of the house, and has a large sofa and ensuite and a getaway room where you can sit back and enjoy a good book, Perfect if your traveling with older people, so they don’t have to walk up the stairs to the bedrooms.

Office If you still have work to do, then the office with a writing desk enjoys a picturesque view of the beautiful back garden, good enough to inspiring the author in you, if you are writing your next novel, it also has a printer and paper, should you need to use it for printing boarding passes etc.

Downstairs Kitchen The kitchen is stocked with more than enough food and drink for your arrival so you shouldn’t need to go do any shopping that day, The kitchen is modern and is excellent for entertaining, with a lovely distressed antique table with 8 chairs, 4 spare chairs are also available from the games room, the kitchen has loads of space to cook, with modern oven / grill & microwave, and you have to try cooking steak or haggis on the AGA, it takes some getting used to but we love it, it’s always on so just watch young kids near it, there is plenty of knifes, enough cutlery, for a party of 10 and loads of spices, and plenty of beers and spirits to enjoy while you cook.

Games Room Is next to the kitchen downstairs, and has a foosball table, beanbags, and loads of games for the kids to play and the budding DJ can mix his heart out on the state of the art white Pioneer CDJ 2000s and Yamaha speakers. Garden The very large back garden is very uncommon being it so close to a city centre, it’s a great private place to spend a few hours having a picnic, or use our barbecue, pick your own apples if they are in season, or a kick about on the football pitch there are plenty of balls and no neighbours close enough to complain about kids shouting, or just chill with a nice bottle of wine, there is a table with some chairs as soon as you walk out, a purple daybed in the corner, if you have any dogs, they can run about to their hearts content here.

Bathroom with shower. Ideal for washing off your dog or kids after a day outside. Back in the house, from the main hallway, a walk up the family tartan covered stairs takes you to the entrance of 4 bedrooms and toilet.
